Ethyl alcohol-based hand sanitizers such as Doc Hygiene™ protect you by breaking apart proteins and processes within diseases at the cellular level. Hand sanitizers kill many types of viruses and flu molecules, which reduces your likelihood of getting sick.

When it comes to choosing the most effective hand sanitizer on the market, Doc Hygiene™ sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizers contain 99.9% germ-killing power. We stand as your safest and most conveniently-packaged option for sanitary safety.

Yes! According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ethyl alcohol-based hand sanitizers “inactivate” certain viruses. This means that correctly-formulated hand sanitizers are effective in preventing the spread of viruses, including herpes and influenza. To be effective against the spread of COVID-19, the World Health Organization recommends hand sanitizers contain at least 60% ethyl alcohol.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration also recommends washing hands with soap and water for at least 30 seconds. It’s vital to keep an effective ethyl alcohol-based sanitizer on-hand to use in conjunction with hand-washing.

Doc Hygiene™ hand sanitizers and sanitary wipes ensure you are always prepared to sanitize on-the-go and when hand-washing is unavailable. Our sanitizers contain 75% ethyl alcohol and come in single-use packets for easy transportability.

Doc Hygiene™ hand sanitizer consists of 75% ethyl alcohol, the only ingredient the Centers for Disease and Prevention recommend for germ-killing sanitizers. In contrast, Purell and Germ-X hand sanitizers hold only 70% and 62% of ethyl alcohol, respectively.

Doc Hygiene™ hand sanitizers and sanitary wipes are your best choice for fast-acting sanitation with the highest level of germ-killing power. Additionally, our unique single-use packet options allow for easy on-the-go sanitation.

Unfortunately, some other brands of hand sanitizer do include methanol in their hand sanitizing formulas. Methanol is toxic when absorbed through the skin and can cause blindness, hospitalizations, and death.

You can rely on Doc Hygiene™ to bring you germ-killing sanitizers without methanol or other harmful ingredients. As a bonus, our sanitizers include soothing aloe and vitamin E, ingredients that keep your skin silky smooth and are fragrance-free.

According to the FDA, over-the-counter drugs, including hand sanitizers, must specify expiration dates unless the product is chemically stable for 3+ years.

You should always check for an expiration date on hand sanitizers and will find one listed on all Doc Hygiene™ products.

Yes, you can bring hand sanitizers on a plane. The easiest way to travel with hand sanitizers is to use Doc Hygiene™ sanitizing wipes. Our wipes hold all the germ-killing power of 75% ethyl alcohol in the form of wet wipes, eliminating the worry of 3.4-ounce liquid restrictions.

Our 10-ounce liquid hand sanitizers are also an option for plane travel, as the Transportation Security Administration is temporarily allowing travelers to carry liquid hand sanitizers up to 12 ounces in size. There is currently no set expiration date on this allowance. Other liquids, however, must remain at the 3.4-ounce weight limit or lower.
